Andy Kirschner began his career with Delta Air Lines in 1991 as an Airport Customer Service Agent. He held several positions in customer service and passenger sales prior to joining the Cargo division in 1996 as an Inside Sales Account Manager. Shortly after joining the team, Andy was promoted to Outside Sales Account Manager, a position which he held for several years. Andy has since held positions of increased responsibility in Cargo Sales, including National Account Sales Manager and Global Account Sales Manager. In 2003, he was asked to take a leadership position at Sky-Team Cargo’s U.S. Sales Joint Venture, where he was charged with managing Delta Cargo’s U.S. export sales in partnership with Air France and Korean Air Lines. While at the U.S. Sales Joint Venture Andy successfully managed regional and corporate sales initiatives. After Delta’s acquisition of Northwest Airlines in 2008, Andy was assigned to the role of Regional Sales Manager for the South Region's Sales Team, responsible for domestic and U.S. export sales. Later, in 2009, he was promoted to General Manager of North America Sales. In 2011, Andy was promoted to the position of Director of Cargo Sales for the Americas where he continues to lead this this team. Andy is charged with managing the day-to-day and long-term strategic aspects of both U.S. domestic and international cargo sales initiatives for the Americas.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a major in marketing, from Georgia State University. A native of Atlanta, Andy and his wife, Marga, live in McDonough, GA.
